Im making my own invitations and am a bit unsure of what to put inside - ive put so far: Lisa and Iain Request the pleasure of the company of mr and mrs bloggs At: church On: 25th September 2010 At: 2.00pm and afterwards at: pub
obviously ive changed details - lol. how do i go about saying where the night time do is?- as its not in the same place as sit down afternoon meal?, also how do i say the rsvp bit- what has everyone else done whos made their own?? also do i tell ppl that i intend to move onto a local park for photos- do i say what time the sit down meal will be. hmmmmm any help would be appricated. My rsvp bit just says RSVP to Mr and Mrs A Reid, and their address as thats where my replies are going too and then i also put a Rsvp by date on the right hand bottom of invite and stated it as 3 weeks before wedding date so 3rd July for me.
You dont need to inform your guests about the local park for photos if you arent having them all getting pics with you, as the bridal party would already know. But if its for everyone then I would add that onto the info list you add in with your invites. As for time of the meal if they are going there to have a wee drink whilst you are having your pics taken then I wouldnt bother stating a time as they would know the meal would start after you turn up at the venue. x

hi guys i did my own invites too the wording i used went like this
mr & mrs bla bla request the pleasure of your company NAMES OF GUEST to celebrate the marriage of their daughter miss bla bla to mr bla bla at ENTER PLACE on ENTER DATE at ENTER TIME
R.S.V.P enter where you want them to respond (i put my address and email address) then put a date by when hope this helps nat xx
