hey everyone i need a bit of help i am looking for some wedding shoes but every pair i find have got a big heel on them, the prob is that h2b is only 2 inces taller then me and i dont want to be taller then him for the big day. Any help would be good thanks xx

I had exactly the same problem as h2b is only 1 inch taller than me.I looked and looked but everything i found with a smaller heel looked clumpy.In the end my h2b was beginning to get a complex,he kept asking if i had a problem with his height and couldn't understand if i didn't why i just didn't get the shoes i loved? So i did and i will be taller than my h2b at the altar by approx 2.5 inches plus veil and tiara and like he says WHO CARES! (however i am trying to steer him towards cuban heels lol!) xxx

I bought my lovely shoes from the wedding shop where I bought my dress as I couldn't find any 2.5 inch heels anywhere else that I liked. I'm also only 2 inches shorter than my partner. I love the shoes I have now. Good luck in your search but I'd definitely advise looking in a wedding shop x

i have the same problem. I'm 5'10" (which is tall enough for a woman anyway!) and adam is 5'11" so I've had no end of problems! I ended up going for shoes in a different colour as I really don't like the pointy shoes and that's all I seemed to be able to find with a small heel, so I've gone for bright pink peeptoes instead - they match my flowers :o) If you're not desperate to have ivory or white shoes then you'll find that you've got loads more choice :o) xx

I'm an inch taller than hubby and my shoes had a 1 inch heel as well so I was 2 inches taller than hubby on our wedding day, but as our pictures show, you can't really tell all that much! I would say don't worry too much about the shoe height, especially if it only makes a slight difference, as your photographer will be able to catch the shots without it being too much of an issue. If you really are stuck though, try doing a search on ebay and specifying the heel height - in fact I know you can search by heel height on a lot of websites now! x
