I am getting married in Back and pink.
I have a hair thing and I want to wear a veil but I dont think that I can.

With a black dress what veil options are open to me? Im thinking a black veil would be too much unless it was short?
I an not sure I want a birdcage veil.

I think im have to start getting used to the idea I wont be wearing a veil :(

How are you having your hair?

They do some black lace veils in Spain, so if you got a short one and if you are having your hair up, you could wear it tucked into your hair?

Or a birdcage veil, black might be a little funereal... but a pink veil would be a fantastic splash of colour!

I think you it the nail on the head there with the black veil especially if its lace edged it would look so different and very beautiful x

where would i get a veil like that?

I was thinking of having my hair loose and a little curly. Most likely vintage-y feel to it

I am trying to find a good picture of the Santa Barbara celebrations we were at last summer, the festeras wore black lace veils. These were quite long ones, made to be worn with a comb as it was a very religious and somber procession but I have seen shorter ones. Obviously it's up to you, a long one could look amazing, especially with that hairpiece!

Here are the best ones I have.

As for where to find them, I will ask my MIL2be if she can find out, her son is the one in the 2nd and 3rd pics haha. So she'll be able to ask the parents and see. I've had a quick look on ebay but none are coming up.

I will keep looking for you, and post anything I find on the wall.

Possibly! Are you entirely set on the shrug or would you prefer a veil? Most longer veils will cover the same places as the shrug so it's all down to personal choice... or you could wear the veil for the ceremony and then the shrug for later?
