    Hi guys,

I thought I had my tables sorted as our venue have candelabras that we can use. Although there is no problem and we can use them when I went to the venue today and saw the tables set out. They had extra things on which we were not going to have which made it look more colourful but I'm worried now ours will look very bland and dull. Our colours are ivory and gold. I don't want the tables too cluttered but at the same time don't want them looking sparse and cold. I was thinking about maybe adding some ivy or something around the candelabras but was wondering if any of you ladies had any ideas on what to do that will add some life to the tables without costing a fortune.

I like that idea but again it isn't adding any colour. I'm more worried about it looking bland as most of it will be ivory with the odd bit of gold if you get what I mean?

How about adding a few gold butterflies onto the ivy? Or hiring round mirrors for the centre and put some cheap tea light holders and some rose petals on with the candelabras on?? A well know swedish home shop has very cheap tea light holders for like 20p each and I'd recommend 3 per table?

Ask if you can go in and try a few things out. Remember by the time you have plates, cutlery, glasses, favours, place cards, menus etc the tables get quite full.

agree with dove thats why maybe having crystals hanging will add a slight touch but without being ott. you can get crystals in different colours also
or how about ribbon twisted around bottom of them entwined??

I was thinking they would be full hence why I wasn't going to have anything else on the tables but I feel it needs an injection of colour in some way. I like the gold butterflies on the ivy and maybe if I put some mirrors under the candelabras then it will reflect the colour from the ivy back again without taking up any more space? I think I'm going to have to have a google and see what I can find.

I've been looking at the UK bride real images as well. I didn't realise before that you can search by category as well. its pretty good.
