Hello! I'm trying to upload photographs that I've downloaded from the internet but they won't upload because they're not the correct format. I'm not really sure what else to try and was wondering if someone could help me out? I'm not completely computer illiterate, although it may seem that way, I'm just a bit stuck :o)

i had that problem with a few as well. are you downloading them to your computer and then uploading them?

I'm trying to but when I then attempt to access them it says the files are empty. My computer has never done this before so I dont know what to do! Then when I did eventually manage to download one it wouldnt upload because of the format issue. Aargh!

Not really a computer "Whizz" lol but I think when you download a pic you have the option to decide what format to save it in. There should be a dropdown menu under where you would type the filename and you'll have options such as Jpeg (I'd say JPEG is best/easiest format). Other than that I'm not sure what else to suggest

some images on the internet are protected so when you try and download them it comes up no content Are you right clicking and then clicking on save image? x
Hi. Yes thats what I'm trying to do but it doesnt give me the format option so I guess they must be protected like you say :o( Oh well, maybe I'll just give up!! x

check which format as it has to be jpg, some website protects photo and will let you download as html (web page) this could be why you can't then upload you can normally see what format it is in your folder where they are it should say name.jpg or name or it could be other formats

It's hit and miss with me too. The pics I have taken sometime upload and sometimes don't. I'm talking about posting them in a forum though, not to my photo albums. That works fine. I'm trying to upload a pic of my invites but it won't work. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help guys, I managed to get it sorted! Tried something completely different that seemed to work - not sure why but it suddenly started downloading them as jpegs, although not every time. Anyway I've managed to get my photo albums up and running! Thanks again :o) I can't believe how nice and helpful everyone is on here!! xx
