I've recently started to try and make plans for my wedding and was wondering how people kept to their budget. We are on a very small budget and just wondered where people found wedding decorations for tables and etc. xx

I am on a small budget too and to start with I worked out how much I could realistically afford then started a spreadsheet and split that budget between everything I needed then tried to stick to it. Some things I have gone over on but only by a few pounds. I have got most of my decorations from the bay and @m@zon, you can get good quality things for so much cheaper x
Got together on 14th March 2010
Got engaged on 25th December 2013
Became Mrs P on 14th May 2016 - best day ever!

For decorations I would look on the bay, @m@zon, the r@nge, dunelm mill, hobbycraft, family/home bargains and places like that xx

Hi I got most of mine from the bay and the r@nge. I got my fish bowls from the home of bargains x
Agree with Flossie. They are my go to places. It's amazing how beautiful things can come out cheap when you did and buy all the bits separately

I never really set myself a budget but knew I had to keep it to a minimum so that I could spend the extra on the venue and dress etc. I kept it as low by selling stuff on the bay and then buying stuff cheap on there as well with the money I had got from selling stuff. That saved a lot.

We are on a tight budget too and I am trying to make a lot of things myself! It's amazing what you can come up with when you get inspiration from places such as P@nterest, I have bought quite a lot from @bay and B@M are good as well as Home B@gains
