    hi
we have only just though of a possible concern with our cake, vid, and photos. We went through a one stop shop as the cake was unbelievable and they have us a really good deal. They are genuinely lovelly ppl who think of everything. He is insured for photo but apparently they are not a vat registered business but they are residents at our venue and come more than highly recommended hence we trusted the venue and mae our purchase with them. We have a fuill invoice outlining all the small details with costs but are concerned if they go bust. I presume our wedding insurance only covered registered businesses? We didnt even know this until just now as we trusted our venue as its a well sought after venue and trusted them completely. Should we be worried, H2B owns a business and isnt concerned in slightest. i unfortunately am. HELP!!!!!!!!

The only way to be sure is to check with your insurance company, however, my business is VAT registered and I really don't see how that is in any way relevant to insurance; So don't worry about it, but if you want to be certain, ask the insurance company.
    Hope that helps.

I don't think businesses don't have to be registered for VAT unless they have a certain ammount of turnover, or they want to charge VAT. it shouldn't make any difference to your insurance, but maybe check the Ts&Cs to be sure?

You only have to be VAT registered if your gross turnover is more than £40k

Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)

You can always log on to Companies house to make sure they are registered as a limited company.
