why cant you do butterfly's i no traditionally they are a spring theme but dont see why they wouldnt work. Have you thought about selling what you have already got and use the money to buy some new stuff. Not really helping am I sorry :(

Aqua and Orange mix pretty nicely...

ah and my bm and moh 1st of all dont think they fit in orange but i think if i stick them in aqua like planned and give them little orange flowered bouquets :)

got the butterflies liking them but dont think it is right or feels right in october ... any advice please from you what i could choose instead ??? have already loads of aqua things but thinking to match it all with orange...

i know i dont think i really want mine as it doesnt seem to work for me anymore ... might be selling the butterflies i reckon...

Hun, don't worry about matching your theme to the time of year - I don't see why we are made to believe we have to do that. It's your wedding and you can have whatever you want. I'm getting married in mid september, so in theory I should be having browns and oranges but that's really not us - we're having light blue, silver and white, which is probably classed as more wintery colours, but it's what we want :)

If you wanted to make it more of an Autumn theme, try aqua and gold. It was recently in a magazine and looked amazing, really rich and luxurious x

What about aqua and Red i think you can do alot with this colour and theme can go retro with it x Or Aqua and lime aqua and pink! Aqua and cream!

it may actually be really nice to have the contrast of colours. I dont see a problem. I would keep all of what you have as these type of things are not cheap and make use of them. Butterflies are now seen at weddings at any time of the year so I wouldnt worry hun and I would use it all. In terms of colour, go for the colour you want whether you think its more a spring colour or not. It is your day and many brides are not tending to stick with the 'rules' which are often pointless rules anyways and more and more are doing what they want as it is their wedding day at the end of the day. Could you mix the aqua with maybe a purply shade? I dont know how that would work exactly or if it would clash?

What about using the Monarch butterfly you then could have a mixture of the two.. maybe using the Autumn colours and creating fallen leaves and having the aqua butterflys on them? xx

You know what.. Its your wedding hunni. Sod the date! youve got all this stuff already, why change it? Who cares what month it is? Its about you. If you have found something you like then why change it,I bet it was hard enough makeing that choice in the first place xx

oh well it was easy at first as i was gonna get married in april but we change the date so therefore i think i do wanna change the theme slightly to i wanna keep the aqua as its the most i bought already the butterflies werent to expensive and i can use them on wrapping presents etc... so no lost really :D but i feel i need to change a bit and think i need to cut out the butterflies and go for more autumn/ country things instead combines with the aqua.... shame h2b isnt so into it otherwise it would be easier to decide what to have and what not :)
