Hi all wondering if you lovely people can please help me?
Ive got my dress fitting this Monday and for ages ive been thinking right I must remember my shoes, however one thing ive forgotten is my bra!!!!! I haven't bought a bra yet for the wedding! However when I bought the dress the lady in the shop had said to me that dresses like mine with a sort of corset top aren't designed to be worn with a bra anyway.
So im just thinking do I still need a bra or is there anyone else not wearing a bra with their dress?

My best friend didn't wear a bra hun there were like cups built into it. Just take your shoes hun and explain you prob won't be wearing a bra xx

You could always take a strapless, try it with and without and see what you prefer. X

The dress doesn't need a bra as it has enough structure in it, but you can always have cups sewn in for extra support.

im also thinking about stockings and suspender belts does anyone wear them now? im a little worried I may get too hot has anyone else wore them?
I will be wearing stockings and suspender belt so just do it one day where you can be as sexy as you like xx

I cant see me wearing suspender belt and stocking maybe a sexy garter and tiny thong lol for my dress certainly won't try 2 impress h2b as ive read lots of couples don't even have have nookie on the night xx

I didn't wear a bra under my dress as it had a built in corset - I also totally forgot about my garter! LOL

I will be wearing a lightweight bridal corset ... I hate not having a bra on!! It also brings me in at all the right places too lol!

My dress has a corset and kind of gives me more boobs then I actually have so I may wear a bra for comfort (I don't like not wearing a bra during the day unless it's a pajama day) or I may go without. It'll definitely be worn in the evening ;) Just wear one if it'll make you feel comfortable or go without, it's entirely up to you.

You should feel comfortable. Try your dress on first and see if you would be comfortable with that throughout the day. If you dont then you can take a bra strapless is more sensible but if you want straps you can get clear straps, if not then a normal bra :- BUT make sure it matches your dress so well that if you had straps that would be shown you want them to blend in with the dress or not have it so visible. I agree with Ana40, take a strapless so you can see what feels best for you.
As for stockings and suspenders, i suppose it depends on dress, if it's quite layered and heavy, it might be really really hot under there! Or if it's thin, will any bits show through?
I'll be wearing bridal lingerie, even if nothing happens on the night (which i can see, tired from the day and such) you always got the morning ;p Haha.
I'm quite small chested anyway, i'm only a 34b so i'd like extra padding or something to give me an oomphh.

I am thinking of taking & wearing a padded stick on wonder-bra for the wedding as the back of my dress is quite low. I am under no illusion that me and the hubby might get down to business on night of wedding as reality is we are both going to be far to drunk and tired. I would be surprised if we dont wake up fully dressed the next day :-/ So I have decided to get a comfortable plain white stick on bra and nice knickers for the day then for the night time I have seen some really nice white underwear / nightwear with a little blue bow on which I can sleep in xxx

mine was corseted and boned but in the end i decided i wanted to wear a bra the top part of the dress was altered as much as it could but needed the bra to fill the void between the dress and me as it couldn't be brought in any more (i have big boobs and big hips so they had to order a larger size to accomodate my hips but was too big for my boobs)
don't worry about your bra for this fitting, wait and see if you think you need one then go buy one.

I'm just wearing some sexy bridal shorts and suspenders with stockings as I really don't need any bra or corset with my dress due to the amazing corsetry... however I am buying a bra so I can wear it later when we leave and I change! ;) x
