Hi, I have been looking for a DJ in Norwich/Norfolk and have quotes ranging from £375 to £150. I am on a very tight budget but have been told don't go for cheap DJ's as they will be rubbish!? Can anyone recommend a good DJ in the area who is good and doesn't cost too much? Its a very small venue too! Thank you so much in advance.

i may be able to help you, my h2b's friends dad is a DJ he is doing our wedding in norwich for a reasonable price but i dont have his details to hand. i will get the number tomorrow from my h2b and give it to you :)

ahhh brilliant my sil is getting married there in september and a friend in july. We are getting married at Norwich FC well our reception is there.

we're getting married at drayton old lodge, they do have a resident DJ but he is £260 where as our friends dad is doing it for £100! he conincidently was the in house DJ at the venue my sister got married at a few years ago and was very good xx

Thank you ladies! I am getting married in St Giles House Hotel in Norwich. They recommended the £325 DJ who has used their venue before but it seems a bit expensive as I only need very basic stuff and the room is very small. He seems to be geared up for much bigger parties. I tried to get the Oaklands as a friend married there in June and said it was fantastic but they were booked on my day - too near the christmas party season.

wow i really wanted st giles but it just didnt account for our numbers. Big familes can be a pain lol. i think our inhouse dj is something like 200/300. i havent said i wanted him yet. what would your friends dad normally charge pink alice?

Hi, I am sorry I cant help with the DJ situation, we did have a very good 1 for our engagement party but cant find his details (didnt think we would be getting married so soon so didnt keep his details).
Anyway, just wanted to say hello to all you Norfolk Brides. We are getting married at Stower Grange in Drayton on the 17th Sept 2011 :-)
Also, I am looking for cheap photographer, I just want them there for a couple of hours and just want a copyrighted disc....Any ideas??

hey nikki i have a brilliant photographer. ill post her details on you page. Tell her felicity send you lol. Her cheapest is 395, you get everyphoto she takes (i think around 700 for full day) ive changed my day so she's at the house but not up to the last dance. I really recommend her and if you only want her for acouple of hours im sure she'll accomdate to that and maybe change prices etc.

Hi suzie , we have now booked our DJ i will post details on your wall , after not liking the one at the weekend , i remembered my friends wedding last year where the DJ was great had every1 on the dance floor all night which is what i want too, after the weekend ive seen that the DJ can really make or break the night xx

Just as a thought it might be worth contacting the local college/ music school to see if they have any students who would be willing to do it as they are normally cheaper or go into a local music shop to see if they can recommend anyone... Just a thought
