So I went dress shopping on Friday, finally got the 3 'ones' down to 2! Mom and MOH came with and kind of liked 1 better than the other (i was the other way around!) Mom had seen all 3 before but forgotten how beautiful they all were, and this was MOHs first time!
Then had to go and have a break and find some lunch whilst staring at 2 pics of myself to decide which one i wanted to go for!!

Finally decided!! The one i thought it would be all along woooo!! Went back to the shop where she made me put it back on, and this time even my mom and MOH agreed that this was the one, and afterwards my MOH admitted she had a tear when she saw me in it the 2nd time! However cannot order or take measurements until I have my EXACT shoes, so am booked back in on Thursday next week to do all the details/measurements and paying of deposit!
And have booked a day shopping with the mother on Monday and potentially Tuesday to find shoes!! This is where im now stuck.. can't find anything decent online! Can anyone help or advise me??? I would love a nice pair of heels, would be nice to be designer haha, will have to flutter the eyelashes at the mother next week!! But really struggling as don't want to leave to ordering it on an online website...?!

Any help would be most appreciated xxx

Does the bridal shop where you got the dress not have any shoes??

I am a terrible shoe shopper, i LOVE shoes but when I am looking for a particular style/colour i can never find what I want, I had my poor H2B going mad walking the full length of the MetroCentre trying to find heels for our engagement party!

So I can see me having the same problems as you and just not finding anything I like, or what is more likely - finding the shoes I love that are WAAAAY over budget!! haha

Try Deb or somewhere like that, that have a formal section...

Or my Favourite - KG :)

I got to admit i was on deb hams last night and mr j lewis, as well as all others and the bridal lady suggested a couple of other high end names but cant seem to find any nice ones the way she described... as silly as it sounds i thought maybe as wedding designer would be way to go but think i may have come across some from the one that is simply shoe

Crawfy88 - I know exactly how you mean! Im not one for shopping but when it comes to actually having to thats when it all falls to pieces, especially shoes! I dont wear them often as used to be alot heavier so couldnt handle it but i do love looking! and then i can never find what im looking for!
I just found some from the posh place in London, only 500quid! haha. Maybe not... but think ive stumbled across a potential along side potential bridesmaids ones at the same time, totally unexpected! And they are shoes i've seen before in all honesty and never thought oooh they could be!
The shop did have but didnt like them to be honest! And also have added problem, most shoes there and that i've seen around online are ivory and my dress is actually the white that isnt pure white but isnt ivory! (cant remember its real name)
Ooh I do love looking in KG but never any luck, may venture web way there next!

Mrs Brammer, that was somewhere that was suggested to me but again didn't seem to have that many despite numerous people saying they had a great bridal line, but again most are ivory :S!!!

I got my shoes from sch uh and are great if you dont want massive heels and not tiny either, its inbetween. They are by irreg ular choice and are ivory with flowers on the front, quite different looking from typical bridal shoes.

Do you definately want your shoes the same colour as your dress? Or as its so difficult to find that colour what about having your shoes the same colour as the bridesmaids dresses? xxx

I was originally thinking of a different colour but our theme is silver and aqua/turqouise and want bridesmaids in silver shoes anyway but when mentioned to bridal shop lady she said no dont have a bright shoe especially as was thinking of having the turquoise especially after seeing so many brides mags with brides having ther colour for their shoe! But tbh havent come across any.
The ones i found originally I think would be perfect for the dress and can get similar for bridesmaids which is bonus but just shocked at what there is or isnt out there! so may go for those but still wanted to see if alternatives! xx

Ah thanks guys, yeh I hadn't thought about dying them, not sure if I actually want the colour scheme on my shoes now, espec as asked H2B's opinion and he would prefer me to have matching to dress or silver at a push! And as I want to look my best for him I take on board what he would prefer!
Hopefully will have some luck tomorrow! Then can officially order my dress!! Woo!

Why do you have to have your exact shoes to order your dress? I thought (and from experience) that you only needed to wear your exact shoes when you're having your fittings.

Anyway, shoes ............I got mine from good old D'hams, they have an amazing range of bridal shoes at great affordable normal prices. I was tempted by Choos but decided to be sensible as it's only for one day and people will hardly see my shoes. I also then almost went for shoes from Gin@ but again sense got the better of me.
    xx

InDreamand - I totally agree with u but I guess it's for exact height and stuff for measurements! I guess incase the ones you use for measurements differ slightly, saves risk of alterations I don't know! She knows better than me so doing as I'm told haha!
I can't see many I like on their website but going in tomorrow to look! and yeh I absolutely love some of gin@ ones!! Especial union jack but 1) not suitable r wedding & 2) I can't afford! But yeh am now thinking lie ou ts one day barely seen except r maybe photo before so why spend so much and tbh was disappointed in the Choo range!

Antonia2008 - aw wow really how exciting :) mays defo THE month haha & thanks I'll look fwd to lookin at links xx
