Hi all, I have my photographer he is doing church and reception 75 photo's all in album and on cd which is great all for £375 which is all we could afford but i have paid him a deposit of £100 already. I have just seen his work and am not happy with it i will post a link on my wall and you can have a look if you want as not sure if i am being picky as i don't know nothing about photo's. I am so gutted and worried now as we just can't afford more than like £300/£400
Does anyone know of any good cheap photographers in basingstoke/winchester area. Thanks

we are also on a budget and we have approached the local university to see if a student photographer would atend our wedding, we said we preferred someone in their second yr etc, we will be looking at their work first...however it is a much more budgetable option lol :)

I know one hun! He is charging us £170 and for that we are getting:-
Pre-wedding photography session CD-Rom of Pre-wedding photos. Complete Ceremony coverage including: Guests arriving, bride arriving, ceremony coverage* After ceremony photography in the venue grounds. Organised group photos. Candid photography throughout the day. Coverage of the reception. Image processing / editing as required. 1 * CD-Rom or DVD-Rom of images 1 * DVD slideshow of final images Shared website to show images from the day.
He is also throwing in a 30x20 photo for us as he is a friend of my Oh's brother! That price quoted is his usual price hun, but for the extra £200 or so you can afford you get a little bit more such as you getting ready etc. Now he lives in Portsmouth but I can check if he would travel to your area hun????
**** EDIT BY ME LOL... I have just checked his website and he does travel hun, if you want the package that I am having then it would be approx £170 give or take a little as he may increased his prices slightly! Let me know if your interested hun and I will post a link on your wall to his website, it is still undergoing construction at the moment as he only has pictures of 2 weddings, the first is my brother and sister in laws wedding ;o) lol.. He is mainly a photographer within the music industry and is moving in to weddings but his photos are great, I love his candid style of photography (when you least expect it lol)

Ive just checked out your photographer hun. I have heard of them before but if im right in thinking they tend to veer more towards babies/children photography, which they are very good at! I had a quick peek at the wedding shots that they have on their site and they are not bad! What is it you don't like about them hun??

hey hun. Mine comes from gosport and he is charging £425 to do half an hour before the wedding up until the first dance, around 8pm ish and all the images on a disc for me. he reckons he'll take about 750 pics! Not sure if gosport is too far?
I didn't realise you lived in Gosport Nic... That is my old stomping ground lol..!!!! (Service baby here lol)

Hmmm love the A32? its a nightmare! I work in Southampton so i go the tichfield way out, but thats still really busy :( I used to live in Hertfordshire. Never had traffic anywhere there! lol
I'm also dreading the summer holidays, I think the traffic gets worse here then doesnt it :P

Ahhhh coming from Herts to Hants eh, yep that would cause you to stress about traffic lol.. My dad use to live in Hertfordshire so I know how lovely and quiet the roads are there!
Traffic probably does get worse in the summer, being on the South Coast everyone comes to visit! Although being where you are you might be lucky enough to avoid it hun! Most people are travelling towards Portsmouth as opposed to Southampton so you shouldn't notice to much difference!
