So I have been growing my hair now for 2 years!
Its all coming off in September as I have had enough of it now but my problem is I have NO idea how to have it for the wedding

Its down to my bottom and quite fine, silky hair so curls tend to drop
I dont fancy the traditional half up half down & im not having a veil
Not actually sure what im having in my hair, if anything

Lots of people are mentioning it would be nice to have it down as I always wear it up & it would show the length

I have no clue, trial is booked for a week monday but I need to have a brief idea surely? Can anyone help or have any of you lovely ladies got photos of how your having/had your hair?

What is your dress like ? I'm hoping to have a lot of detail on back of my dress so don't want to cover is with my long hair.. Plus mines in July and if its hot I don't want my hair around my shoulders and next.. It depends on your dress, how hot you get when your hair is down and you should really figure out if you want anything in your hair first and if you do you need to choose what... It is your hairstylists job though so she should be able to guide you well.. Hope that helps a bit.. Xxx

Like MrsH-2B said; it depends on your dress and the time of the year but your hairdresser will know what will work best for you :)

Have a look in magazines or online and just keep pictures of what you like. Show it to your hairdresser and she can advise you. I have fallen in love with the loose chignon.

Plaits are really popular at the minute, im having mine down,my normal style is side parting, long side fringe across my forehead. I'm having my fringe plaited across my forehead and a hair comb i have made myself tucked in the side, im not having a tiara or veil.

    Thanks ladies
    Plaits sound nice
My dress is corset back, plain on the back too and detail is on bust & waist
If the weather stays like this, hair down will have to be a no as cant be doing with sweating more than necessary!

Have you tried the clip in bun? You can get it in many sizes, tie your hair up as a normal pony tail put the clip in bun in? Or the doghnut is quite popular do the same only put it on tip of normal pony tail and wrap hair around it, gives amazing looking thick hair! I know the feeling I only have shoulder length hair and its so annoying in this heat!! Good luck, ps the buns are in Claire's and the doghnuts in boots xx

I'm in a similar predicament (except not so close to my wedding) I have been growing my hair for the big day and its almost down to my bum but its got to a point now where its like washing and brushing a mini carpet lol my hair is medium thick though, I always have my hair up as drives me mad but don't suit too short hair, am considering having it mid shoulder length so as I can still style it on the day, defo speak to your hairdresser about designs or just trim it to a manageable length xx
