I know this isnt strictly allowed, so I apologise MODs but I am desperate.
one of my flower girls is 5 but has severe cerebral palsy and has recently been put on steroids. We tried her dress on yesterday and it doesnt fit! its an age 6 dress. I bid on two dresses yesterday on ebay, but the girl is now saying the price was PER dress, and not for the 2 dresses she listed. So thats another £50 down the drain.
Debenhams told me they dont stock flower girl stuff in store in the winter months, and I dont have a BHS or anything in my city. The ones in Monsoon are not quite right either.
I desperately need 2 ivory dresses, one age 6 and one age 7/8.
any of you just marrieds getting rid of any? would need posted first class as get married next week! ARGHHHHHHHH!

What about Next? They do some online, not sure about in store but I believe they deliver quickly. Racking my brains but the only places I can think of are those that you've mentioned plus Next and M&S.

I ordered mine off BHS online - really good delivery and if they dont fit you can send them back free of charge I think x
just bought 2 brand new ones from Debenhams online, so thats another £80 gone! (they promise they will be here within 4 days) what a nightmare. having to open up an ebay case against the other girl for mis-leading description to try to get my £50 back.
i just pray the size 7 will fit her.

hey theres a brilliant little place in croydon (my dresses are from there £39!!)... they have an online shop as well but they keep most things in stock so would prob be able get it too you quite quick (especially the emergency to them). :ignore the name of the online shop as sounds bad but promise its a real dress shop- *****************..... i'll keep my fingers crossed for you xxx

I saw a pretty dress in Primark today for about £6. It has an ivory satin top with a ruffled layered netted/tulle skirt. They have a lovely cream furry jacket that would look good with it. It is not strictly a flowergirl dress, but it definitely pass for one. x

no progress yet. Will just have to wait and see what arrives this week. She is either being a complete cow and just sent me one of the dresses, or she is being decent and sending me both. The fact that she didnt reply to any of my mails makes me think she is being a cow though!
the Debenhams ones i bought as back up have apparently been dispatched. So at least my girls will have something to wear. If it fits! But not trying her dress on her again until the Saturday morning before the wedding. So if it doesnt fit, well then it doesnt fit.......

thanks hun, but already bought 2 from debenhams which are on their way. i wont know if they fit until Saturday, a few hours before the wedding! Am trying not to stress about it and just keep my fingers crossed!

well 2 dresses arrived from the ebay seller this morning!! And they are AMAZING! little sparkles all through the tulle skirts and she even sent the matching jackets!
I am so happy! also means I can send the Debenhams ones back. Just hope they fit now. xx

neither of the new ones fit........... BUT as she is in a wheel chair it doesnt really matter. We have gone with the ones i like and just leaving the zip half down at the back. She has a little marabou shrug to go over the top so nobody will know!
