You will just have to keep searching ebay or have Ann or another dress maker make it up for you but it won't be the same as the one you tried on just similar.

The shop where my dress is coming from is allowing me to pay for it at £100 a month is that not a possibility?? :-)

OOPS sorry, lol. My budget is very tight also and i actually bought a dress from the aution site think i ended up payin about £60 for it, its a lovely dress but my h2b wanted me to have my very own never been worn dress so i went dress hunting, i see a few i liked then see 'the one' tried it on fell in love with it instantly, its costing me £735 which is a big big big amount of our budget but the lady allowed me to pay her a deposit and then the rest every month at £100, i only have £485 left to pay and soooo much happier knowing i have the one i want and love!! its not gonna be ready for a few months yet but they still have the one i tried on in the shop so when i go in every month i see it and fall in love even more.
I hope ur mum tells u to go for it!! :-) XX

Also don't just accept the price of the dress from the shop as a fixed price. Ring around all the other shops in the area that sell that make of dress, I usually go to the suppliers website and it gives you a list of stockist. You can then ring each shop including the one where you saw the dress and ask them to give you their best price. I saw a dress for £1180 but after ringing around the stockists I found one shop that would sell the shop to me (brand new and ordered in just for me) for £800! Its amazing what you can do by just making a few phone calls. Just remember to be polite and that some stores won't budge at all but some will be willing to make a smaller profit rather than no profit at all and you will get the same service.

Have you tried a certain bidding website or you could wait till the new season of dresses comes in and you might get it at a reduced rate. Or how about seeing if you can see it at a wedding fair. Hope this helps xx

hi mine was £800 which is expensive but its the type ofdress ive always imagined and nothing compared to it and i did not want to look around as wanted to save the hassle and have a local bridal shop were i could keep going back for fittings. luckily my dads paying for mine, he has not got much money but he saves a small amount each week and hes nearly upto £400 now and he has already paid £100 so thats good. if its the dress you want there is always ways around it and i am sure they wil let u pay it off in installments like mine x x
