hey been speaking to a company today that do DVD and photography packages. They sent me set packages which were all really good but a bit expensive. Anyway, they have offered me the following package, which is cheaper than the other packages that they sent me.
For £1395 A DVD with the following: Approx 30 images of bridal/groom prep Full filming of ceremony in full HD Approx 30 images of formal/natural photos Full filming of speeches in full HD re-cap of 30 ish photos
All done to 3 music tracks of our choice. (each set of 30 photos is set to one track, so images stay on screen for 5-7 seconds)
AND 2 extra copies of the DVD film for parents unlimited photos with every image in high resolution on CD, our copyright. They can touch up photos as much or as little as we want, colour tone them, angel light them etc etc.
£275 - £695 for albums after event (bellisimo only) If we opt for an album they send you another CD with your storybook album on there in electronic format too, just in case you lose your actual album in a fire or something. We have full control over the design of the album and the photos that go in there.

what you think??? crazy not to bite their hand off? the guy sounds really nice too, and emailed me a few album to have a look at. He sounds young and a good laugh!

YAY! just hope Shaun will go for it now. We only have £1k in the photography budget, but I really want a video too after what a lot of the girls say on here.
this company are based in Glasgow and Fort William and cover all of Scotland and I think some of England too. Will put their link on my page for anyone else wanting a look. i have a videography and photography package... will put deails here so you can compare: Full day filming and photography in HD including prep and until end of wedding approx 11pm midnight (whenever things start winding down) 3 people there all day (1 just doing dvd, 1 just doing photos and another capturing the informal video and photos) a photo albulm - storybook style (plus option of parent albulms for £60 for first and £30 for any additional) after day 10 dvds 1 bluray. 10 mini dvds put just to one song (to give out as thank yous etc with just a snapshot of the day to the one song) has asked us for about 10-15 songs for the dvd full fancy professional dvd menu full control of photos to go in albulm (on evening they will also set up in another room to record messages from guests to us) erm i am sure theres some little bits more but its basically all that for £1800
we have gone with someone who is registered with the professional thingybob of videographers and someone we felt really comfortable with and we have paid a bit more that we really wanted but it's all we are gonna have after the day other than our memories so it was really important to us. seems a bit extravagant now writing that price next to a list of such few items but i am confident that they will really look after us and take a really fantastic recording of our wedding that the money will be worth it :-)

in fact i think ther a fab company and so nice and professional, when i booked them they couldnt do enough to help me and always answer any queries i have now even though they already have my deposit and booking. for anyone near lincoln (although they do travel and have travelled quite far before on request) i would definitly reccomend so will put website here! mention my name..doubt it will get me any discount but they might do you a better package deal like they did me!

oh and ther giving me the full CD of photos with copywrite...with about 50 edited ones with colour changes etc. keep remembering things lol but i do think you have a good deal with that but i would definitly reccomend doing both the video and photos :-)
