I've found a dress that I have fallen in love with. Its the Mori Lee 1901 - I know this is technically 'last year's' design (and I'm not actually getting married until start of 2015!) but I have fallen for this dress big style. My venue is a brilliant manor house and I have visions of me on the grand staircase with that gorgeous lace train behind me...oh and Mr HusbandToBe beside me too
Anyway, I know the dress is stocked in the UK but it seems to be much more ££ here than I have seen online in the US. I was wondering if (a) anyone knows where they stock this dress at a good price in the UK; and (b) anyone has had any experience with buying online and shipping it to the UK - if so, have you been hit with customs/import duties??
Any help would be muchly appreciated
Thanks ladies!

Yes, you're liable for customs charges for anything over £50 that is imported to the UK. This is equal to the VAT rate, so currently 20%. Sorry I can't help about whether there's a UK stockist though.
Vegas baby!

I would check that the website is an approved supplier for Mori Lee. There are a lot of sites that pretend to be US or UK sites but a really are shipping replica dresses from China. As for UK Suppliers, again check the Mori Lee website for the approved stockist list. Generally there isn't much of a difference between shops, but it's worth calling around & looking into sample dresses.
