    Hi,

I've recently got a quote for 100 invites and it works out at around £300. Is this too much?? They are stunning!

I dont have a clue what is reasonable or the average to pay for invites. What have you ladies paid/intend to pay for yours?

    Thanks
    Danni :)

That does sound really steep for invites. I've been looking and I think the most I found was like £150 for 120 invites. x

Yeah seems quite steep to me as well; I'd say except to pay around £100 - £150 depending on quality :)

I got mine from Vprint.. I did the advanced editing and set the out exactly how I wanted and just ordered them.. They're absolutely perfect to me :-)
Even still though, for all that the most I was quoted from a 'wedding stationary' supplier was £200.. Xxx

it might seem a lot but if you look at most places that do invites they are at least £2-£3 an invite these days. If they are really nice luxury invites then thats probably the price you would expect to pay. i would just make sure that they really are worth the money and that they come with everything else printed and done for you.

if you have got the money then get them - saves a lot of time rather than doing them yourself. i like to keep myself busy so personally i am making mine myself as they are a lot cheaper

i am making 80 invites (for both day and evening) i have gone for a luxury black broderie card pocketfold design and printing my own inserts. on the front i am putting our names with ribbon and a diamante buckle on - they look just as good as the luxury ones at £3 or £4 a go and ive just done a quick count on costs and its cost me £108 for 80 invites (this is not including other stationary). however im printing them at work and using some card from work for the inserts so that has saved me a little money. i could have saved a lot more by going for simple invites instead of pocketfolds. could have done them all for about £40 but i just love the ones that ive found and my mom is paying for the pocketfold templates xxx

Seems an awful lot to me, but, then again, I made our invites so that worked out rather cheap.

How many people are you inviting? 100 is a lot of invites.

I was going to have mine made and was quoted around £100 for all but I had a think about it and thought most people will probably chuck them in the bin after the big day so I decided to just buy some but they are still nice and the money I saved has gone towards other things xx

Mine were £2 per invite. It all depends what you are happy to pay. There will always be someone who can do it cheaper but you can't guarantee the quality.

It depends on how they are made, designed and materials used...

I've seen quotes of £0.70 - £5 per invite... so yeah not too bad... do you need 100 invites? remember typically it's one per family/couple, not 1 each!

i thought it was a lot!! only when i realised most people will throw them away!! so why do i need to spend a forune on them. I could afford the £300 if i wanted to, im just not sure I want to!!
Mum and dad have said they'll pay now, but I dont really wanna take the mick if i dont need to spend that...

Ive started looking into other options like Vprint and asking my friend to design...and maybe go craft shop and see how arty i can be!!!

I personally wouldnt pay that for invites - just for the reason like you've said - they go in the bin lol!!

I've been really fortunate to know a girl who has started her own fb page, havent sorted the invites yet but she has done my save the dates to the exact detail i wanted. 100 for £15!!!

It all depends on what style you want really - good luck on finding the right ones though :) xx

Depends what your getting and what your willing to pay Mine are pocket folds with 4 inserts and works out at £3 each so if I got a 100 I too would be paying that Luckily I only need 35 for the day then I'm getting post card ones for the evening guests which are £1.50 each!
Pay what your willing to pay and can afford to!
