Hi, well the original plan was for my Aunt to do my wedding flowers ( well say Aunt shes same age as me :/) anyhow when we set the date she got all excited and said she would do our flowers as her gift to us which was great, after going to the suppliers she was sending me pics of the flowers i wanted that were there but i wasnt keen at all, now after browsing on the internet i came across a website and fell in love with their silk flower bouquets, and i want them! lol
Ive already requested samples to be delivered and h2b agrees they're lovely, and he also would like then a long with all other flower items needed.
Really dont know how to bring it up with her, especially now as i'm part of very dysfunctional family and so much is happening with them at the min, and i know shes getting stressed trying to help and deal with them, do i leave it a bit longer or just tell her now? worried i'd hurt her feelings Xx

Its all the flowers, the table decs are sorted and the flowers i like match up great with them.
I dont see her that often anymore because i moved away, only about 2 n hf hours away but still a trek so we talk on phone, text etc. I am up there this weekend though for a friends wedding but with everything going on i dont think this would be the right time, maybe i'll test the water first :s x

Yes, you need to tell her sooner rather than later. Just explain you've found them already done and would like to take the strain off her. Ask her if she would like to be includ n something else

I would speak to her soon and just explain that you didn't really know what kind of thing you wanted until you saw the ones that you now love. I'm sure she'll understand and maybe she could be involved with other areas or could do a reading for you so that she still feels involved? xxx

I would tell her soon to avoid upset, but maybe tell her you want to go down the silk flowers route so you can have them all as keepsakes.
This may not make it seem bad then x

Could you maybe not tell a bit of a fib and say you entered a competition at a wedding fair and you came second and your prize was your wedding flowers xx

You're saving her time and money by purchasing your own flowers, I'm not sure what the problem is? Unless she's volitile - if that's the case I'd go with a little white lie.

Best to be honest and just explain you've changed your mind on the type of flowers you want. I'd tell her soon rather than later x
