Can anyone recommend a good (and not too pricey!) mobile hair and makeup person in the north east? Am getting married at gisborough hall in 5 weeks and my mobile beauty woman has just emailed to say she's broken her elbow! My mum had booked her as a christmas present and now we're a bit stuck, so any help appreciated!

Have you tried looking in local shops? they quite often have a notice board up or ask around the neighbourhood, someone must use one! Another option is the search engine to look in your area, all mobile hairdressers usually have some web presence! Failing that some hairdressers have staff that will come out to your home, but it will be cheaper to go to them and not tell them you are the bride!! Sorry I can't help more, I don't live near you! x

Surely you can ask the woman you'd previously booked if she knows of anybody who could help you out?
