Hi girls, as the title says I need help.

I have finally settled on a colour scheme of pewter and blush pink but I am at a loss on how to use the two.

At the moment I have blush pink bridesmaid dresses and my centrepieces will be blush pink and ivory and the venue will have pink lighting throughout. All my wedding stationery is ivory and pewter and we plan to have grooms men in pewter neck wear and my OH in blush pink neck wear.

What else do I need to use the colours with and do I need to have more of one of the colours? It feels like a mismatch at the minute.

    Xxx

Oh yes got these forgot about that. All the bridesmaids and myself re wearing pewter shoes. I feel like I am forgetting things. We are not having chair covers as the chairs are silver and ivory so fit with the theme. Should my stationery have both pewter and blush or will it be fine with just pewter? Soo much going round in my head xxx

Ahhhh MrsT beat me to it, I was going to suggest the pewter ribbon around the handle of bouquets as well, and you could also wear pewter shoes. My colour was purple and green, I wore green shoes.

sashes on the back of chairs in alternating colours? Bunting? Pew ends? FLoral arrangements with pewter ribbons or organza? Place name cards? Table name cards? Buttonholes/corsages?

don't worry about your invites not having one of the key colours - mine don't and I feel as though it's almost like a little bit of a surprise for guests as they won't know what colour to expect and will hopefully be a little bit 'wowed' when they see the men and BMs in teal with ivory and silver accessories.

We're having two colours as well, wondering now whether to put both on the invites or whether we should just use one and have the other as a surprise..... hmmm

Anyway I agree with what's said above

-bridesmaid dresses one colour, shoes, sash (bag if they're having one) and hair accessories in the other
-chair sashes either with both colours on each chair or alternate chairs
-cake with both colours on (could be flowers or butterflies)
-men's ties in one colour, buttonhole in the other

One thing we're unsure about with us, we think it will look nice but one of the bridesmaids isn't sure, is if we have the men have a cravat in one colour and the buttonhole the other... but bridesmaids have the dresses matching the colour of the buttonhole and their accessories the colour of the cravat?
