Burnt orange and red with some touches of dark green and ivory perhaps? very autumnal and would help to make the room look really cosy and autumnal.

That will look lovely! You can always lighten it up in other ways if you really want, like crystals, candles, mirrors, and white/light linen/chair covers x

I really want candles. The hotel do a package where they provide candles. Will have to see how much it is and what exacly the package includes.

I think it will look lovely and you have to remember that the curtains will open more than what they are in the pic and also you will have lights etc on. I love the autumn colours and you could do some really nice natural displays with greenery, twigs and flowers etc. You could even follow this up with your invites etc by using some natural materials such as some hessian and rattan or skeleton leaves etc.

Well it sounds like at the moment you are doing a great job. Use google to find some images. I'm sure if you search autumn colour schemes for weddings it will brings ideas up for you on how to pull it all together.
The basic principles of design (although rules are always subject to being broken) are to use three colours in the grand scheme of things. You could have something like orange, brown and green which are the major colours of autumn. You can use Ivory as a base colour with it being neutral. Decide which are going to be your main colours and which are going to be accent colours. I would personally use the brown as a base and then the orange and greens to accent them here and there.
If you are going for a natural theme think about textures as well. You can use natural fabrics, leaves, flowers, twigs, water, stones and the likes to make displays, stationery etc.

You could do ivory red and orange but just be careful how and where you use the red and orange together.

Looking on google, I quite like ivory, orange and brown. Would you have brown bows on the chairs and orange dresses???? Not sure what bridemaids will say about orange.

You could have brown dresses and orange flowers. That looks fab. You could have either orange or brown sashes but you might find it easier to source the brown sashes and then maybe have an orange decoration or flower in the middle of them. For the centre pieces you could get a vase from Ikea, put in some twigs from the garden etc and then put on some orange flowers etc. You could fill the vase up with stones too and then have an orange ribbon going around it.

Also if you look out at xmas time you will find the fairy lights that are battery powered for a couple of quid each and you could use them to light up the branches. It wouldn't cost much to do but would look stunning.

I really like the idea of brown dresses. Would it be ok to match brown dresses with ivory seat covers and brown bows. Really sorry about this im just so confused. I love the idea of orange flowers, I like the button hole on my profile pics.. It has red berrys in it tho!!!!
Thank you sarah, I wish this came natural to me!

Just had a look at your flowers and yes they would all go with your theme. They are all from the same part of the colour wheel and go well together. The only time you have to watch out for reds and oranges are when it is not a natural colour and is man made so something like a bright red dress with a bright orange sash could look hideous but if you have muted colours they will go.

Im so jealous rachel, I have fallen in love with Durham; It such a beautiful place.
Sorry jo one more question, what shall I match the groom with? Flowers or bridemaids. He saw a waist coat that he like, it was ivory and red pattern on it.... should I steer clear of this. Sorry 2 questions xx

Its hard to tell. I would take a pic of the button holes etc and then see if it goes with the waistcoat. You will be able to judge it for yourself when you see the two together. It all depends on the shade of red it is, how much there is of it etc. You have to remember there are no hard and fast rules so go by your gut instinct of if you think it looks good together or not. I always take samples with me when I go to buy things etc of the ribbon, material swatch and papers etc so I can compare the new thing to what I already have. It helps no end to make up your mind and keeps everything co ordinated.

Your welcome and I hope you manage to find everything you want. The problem you will have is sourcing everything in the right shades. I would personally try not to match everything exactly and go for a variety of shades of browns, oranges and reds. That way it looks like it is meant to be that way and doesn't look odd if you can't find the right colour for something. Just make sure you keep samples of everything on you so that what ever shade you gets matches and doesn't clash.
