I have just searched the net for come to a wedding and, apart from making me cry, I think the words are beautiful and most people will already know the tune, which always helps

lol, no apologies needed, I get very emotional at the thought of it all! My h2b and I are having a church wedding and it is on our list if things to get sorted as we don't want anything overly religious either! Hope your h2b makes the right decision! ;-) lol

If you have a civil service you don't need hymns at all - isn't it a bit contradictory to have a church wedding if neither of you want anything 'too religious'? Sorry but this just sounds really odd to me, the whole point of a church wedding for us is to get married in the sight of God and to make extremely important vows to each other...

yeah it is we want a church wedding, to be married in the eyes of god, but i want the ceremony to be about us and symbolise our marriage thats all, i dont see whats wrong with that
