I'm new on here so thought id post a thread and get some help...
Does anyone know any good bands/DJ's in the Staffordshire area?? We would like a band to kick start the night and then a DJ after.

bands are quite expensive esp for weddings. my dad is in a few bands and i know the price goes up for a private function but it depends on what sort of band you want and how many members of the band to how much they charge xx

we were quoted £1250 for a band ( and that was us getting a friends discount) whereas a for a DJ we were quoted £300. We are going with the Dj simply because we dont have an extra £1000 to spend on entertainment.

£1250 for a band...i know that is way more expensive than most bands i know charge. on average the price is about £600

Oooh thanks everyone!! I thought it was just me that was choosing expensive bands but it seems that they can range anything from 500 upto 1500.... might be giving that one a miss then unless i manage to get a deal.
Havent started to get quotes for DJ's but assumed they'd be about 300 plus so glad im in the right region..

No it's not too far for me. I generally cover up to 50 miles from Tamworth, although last week I did a 360 mile round-trip to Surrey!!

there's a lot of bands and dj's on the ***************** website they do range in price obviously depending on what they've done before like some of the famous ones are a lot but there's loads of party bands on there you shud check it out!
