im the same, i put sun lotion on but i got really burnt and i have strap marks in my back! they had better disapear before the wedding-i wont be happy! iv been using lashings of baby lotion and now im turning brown. its so much cheaper than aftersun so you can use it all the time and keep yourself really moisturised xx

Aloe Vera. The pure stuff is best but unless you are harbouring a Aloe Vera plant, a bottle of processed stuff will work just as well. xx

Ouch! make sure you drink plenty of water too, as burns are very dehydrating.

Normal tea works well too! Put a couple of teabags in a bowl and let it go cold then use a sponge to apply it, works a treat!

I got badly burnt on Sunday!!! I reckon someone switched the temperature up on the sun on Sunday grrrrr!!

I have always used babyoil... half a bottle in a luke warm bath and soak yourself in it for a good half hour, dry yourself off and cover yourself in aloe vera gel...!!!

Tiggs* I never even thought to use it on burns. I'll have to give it a go.

I went completely brown all apart from my feet :0(
AND found out the hard way that sunburn doesn't like hot water.
My 3 year old daughter (covered in factor 50 i might add) went a lovely shade of golden brown, witch!!!!!!!!!! lol xx

There is a difference between Sun Tan Lotion and Sun Block - Factor 50 will not stop you tanning or burning - it just means you can stay in the sun 50 times longer than without it before your skin is damaged. I am ginger so I wear Factor 50 all the time. People forget that the sun is really strong and when it is the first day of the year out in the sun, you have to be careful. You wouldn't only apply once/not at all on holiday in Greece/Spain/Florida/Australia... be careful out there! :o)

We kept sitting Kayla in a tent every now and then with some water to cool down. Ollie was asleep for the most part and in the tent for most of the rest and even he managed a slight tan.
Poor you, Is there anyway you can controll the dips so you can sit out in the sun or is it just a big no-no?

Will have to check the answer tomorrow. H2B is whinging that it is time for bed now, lol.
Speak to all tomorrow. Nunnight. xx

I can recommend reading this article https://womanlylive.com/the-ultimate-sunburn-treatments-according-to-dermatologists/, it has some really useful tips on how to treat sunburns and even prevent them. It was kinda helpful for me.
