im a newbie i got engaged on halloween and we have decided Halloween 2013 is when we will get married.im an art student and i dont want a completely traditional wedding i have descussed this with the H2B and he agrees i want some arty aspects to the wedding

eg im having carved pumpkins with candles as centerpices instead of flowers :P

i was just wondering if anyone had any advice 4 me :)

yes its becoming very popular these days to get married on halloween ive noticed its not bothing me tho as halloween is my favourate time of the year i take that more serious than Christmas! :P x

see we were thinking that because he is a major influance in my art work but i dont want to fall into the steriotype gothic wedding you know so im keeping it light hearted but im thinking of having a tim burton cake there are pictures in my screapbook but i dont know if yous can see them :S xx

Ebay have some great black/purple veils, shoes and dresses to carry on the theme. I know Goff also did broomsticks for the bridesmaids which looked really cute.

we're getting our nephews and nieces to carve pumpkins as part of the centrepiece so they feel a bit more involved with the day. Ours is harvest festival theme rather than hallowe'en but wow how much fun would a hallowe'en one be?! Great idea, bet you'll have a fantastic time planning it! You could have a cauldron/wishing well instead of a guest book for people to put thank you 'spells' in!

aww thats a wonderful idea elsie!!! i love it!! cheered me up after the disappointment i had today with the venue :( im really having a great time planning it my H2B is more excited about the food :P he is a really foodie person ^.^ gettin the children to do the pumkins is an amazin idea i was thinkin of gettin my guest to make them as i know a lot of arty folk but i dont know yet :/ chezrudda omg gettin married in a castle!?!?! i bet it will be wonderful! xx

i know!! i cant get off it!! my H2B is feeling neglected as a result he is trying to bond with my cat who dosent really like him currently he is on my living room floor with a sqeakin mouse and the cats not even interested :L but im havin to much fun talkin to you lovely ladys :) xx
