    A daft question coming up.

My H2B is 5'5", slightly tubby which gives the impression of being a shorty. I am 5'6" and scrawny so look slightly taller if that makes sense.

Anyway am quite conscious that on the day if I wear heels I will tower over him and I don't want to look daft on piccies etc. Part of me thinks sod it It is my day, people see us together all the time so it isn't something that will be any different and I will wear them, and another keeps worrying it will look odd. I know this is a silly "worry" so feel free to tell me to get a grip.

Just wonderiing if anyone else has a shorter H2B / Hubby and what they did / will do. xx

I have similar issues my partner is between 5'3 and i am 5'4 so I am having to wear flat shoes so i don't tower above him ... but I have got heels for pictures with my bridesmaids and mum and dad etc :) xx

I agree with you comment that if people are used to you both being like that, then i wouldnt worry about it. I have the opposite where i am definately going to have to wear heels as H2B is 6'2 and i'm 5'1!

I have a similar problem, my fella is 6'4 and I am 5'2 and I don't want to wear heels all day but think I will have to. Think I will then take some flats for as soon as the pictures have been taken and I can then just swop them. That might be an idea? X x

I didn't want to get too high heels for our wedding and tower above my husband. He's 5'8" and I'm 5'4" so I bought 3" heels (made me a little bit smaller and I could still walk lol).

Thanks everyone. Maybe I can get him to buy some slightly heeled shoes and I could get away with Kitten heels so I am not really towering, an some flat ballet pumps for the pics.
TBH the second we are married, pics are done and the drink is flowing any shoes I wear will have been flung. off - just like any Saturday night in a club lol.

I am 5'7" and h2b is 5'8" so i have had similar dilemas but i have decided to wear my heels as they make me feel special. They are 3.5" so with h2bs extra inch and his inch heel on his shoes i will be 1.5" taller. I did stress about it for a while but then h2b started to get a bit paranoid saying it didn't bother him but he was starting to think that i had an issue with his height1 so i've zipped it now lol! xxx
