Hi Girls,

I'm sat in tears whilst writing this, Happy tears I may add.

Basically my dad lives 5minutes away from me, since he's been with his new wife we have kind of lost our relationship, We used to be extremely close but now i don't hear anything from him for months on end, he never comes to see my girls and he drives past my house everyday i don't even get a phone call!

I went to my nans today and he coincidently rang her, she passed the phone to me, i bit the bullet and asked him if i could go over to see him. Surprisingly he said yes.

Anyhow i've just got in after being around there for 3 hours! My h2b and I have just had the biggest heart to heart ever with my dad! I didn't think he was interested in my wedding at all, He burst out crying and said he's sorry for how he's been and he's helped us with planning the wedding so much so he's saved us £2,000! (Not paying for anything not that i expect anybody to pay anything but just by helping me see sense)

Out of all the people i thought would be interested in my wedding, whom at the moment really don't seem to be interested at all i never thought Dad would be one of them!

He even Promised me he's going to walk me down the aisle.

Sorry girls for the long post, this really does mean the world to me that my dad IS interested and he DOES want to be there

Thanks girls, I honestly can't believe it! He made me see just how ridiculous i was being trying to make MY wedding perfect for everybody else, in doing so i have re-planned everything and added it all up i'm now under budget by £3,000! xx
