So with 5 months until the wedding I really need to pull my finger out and get things sorted. So tried to get H2B to talk about hymns for the church and go look rings and suits and various other stuff. Everytime I ask him something about the wedding he says he doesn't care, he isn't bothered and I should just do what I want. We are making the invites so I showed him my first mock up and he just shrugged his shoulders and grunted that they were ok, there is no enthusiasm in him at all. So,I email him a list of people he needs to get addresses for and he replies with we don't need their addresses as we are hand delivering them, I said I wanted to put the addresses on anyway to make them look smart. Imagine my surprise when I get a massive email back telling me that I have made this whole thing into what I want, it's become my wedding not ours and I won't let him do anything he wants. I asked him what exactly I had stopped him from doing and his reply was "I can't remember right now but you have said No to something" I have literally not said No to anything. He is a proper strop all because I asked him to do one thing. The man is driving me insane, I wish he would make his mind up to either be involved or let me get on with it but not tell me to get on with it and then when I do say I have ruined it for him!

I think this is something you are going to have to discuss calmly, just the two of you. I'm sure you can work something out x

Well I sat him down and told him he either joined in and helped me or buggered off and left me to it but either way he was not to moan that I wasn't including him. I asked again what I had said no to and he couldn't think of anything so he was just in a strop becuase he had been told to do something!! So I was settling in to the idea of him leaving me to it when all of a sudden I get a message from the cake lady which is one of the things he was supposed to sort and a whole load of text messages with peoples addresses in. I think he had a realisation that he had had a strop about nothing and decided to do these things to make up for it. I tried to talk to him about hymns but thats where he drew the line, he said he really didn't care what hymns we had. But. baby steps are being made, he is doing something at last!! I gave him a new job to find cheap disposable cameras so we shall see if he manages that one.
