Granted it was to pretty much demolish our budget, but it was nice to finally have an input. As he so sagely put it "a happy wife = a happy life".
He's also said he doesn't want flowers on the tables, but candelabras (or "those candle sticky things") - anyone else doing it or something similar?

I am having candelabra decorated with flowers on a mirrored plate with dewdrop crystals and tealights, looks really magical when they're lit. Ask your venue if you're allowed lit candles? Some don't allow it for health and safety reasons but you can get electric ones, hope that helps? :o) xx
JD is taken so I'll settle for being Mrs Marge :o)

I think I preferred it when mine had no input,(-:.....since we went to a wedding fair together and he saw the kind of lingerie a bride can wear on her wedding night, his input has exploded into every area of the wedding!!! I do love the fact that tho that hes starting to realise how stressful balancing a budget is and hes a little more understandiing now just how much some things are. xx
I have a gorgeous husband!

thanks girls! i'm glad he's had input - just need to have a rethink (i'm still ignoring his suggestion he wears a yellow suit). he wants us to buy the candelabras - he has a vision of dotting them around the house as little reminders which is pretty sweet :)
dee, i used to be a lingerie advisor so he's been through all of that :) and he pretty much leaves me to do the budget (i'm an accountant so its kinda my thing anyway!)
think i might buy one and play around with ivy, crystals etc.
ooh, yellow suit! I'm trying to convince h2b that his oil/petrol/grease soaked overalls aen't suitable for our wedding day!!! My h2b flits in and out of being helpful and having input.

yup, yellow suit with a purple silk shirt...he's so special. he's also asked if he can change into a banana suit for the reception (at this point i think he was bored with the conversation so he was released to go play)

lol, they do have trouble consentrating for long periods of time.... especially on quite a girly subject... my h2b has all kinds of 'helpful suggestions' like how about we just get wed then down to the old market in (the pub in town full of middle aged men sat there getting drunk) or Lucy (his moms goat) is going to be your bridesmaid... and my favourite... I'm going to marry Jonny (our chuckwalla) instead.... grrr!

i love how you "released him to go and play" chani :)
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

Ha! Yes H2B wanted to wear one of the suits from Dumb and Dumber ... typical eh, he has now been told otherwise! x
