I had to go to the florist this morning for a 'mock up' of my bouquet. I am having amnesia roses, veronica, snowberries, steelberries, bouvardia, eucalyptus and thistles. When I got there the guy was late and when he turned up was totally unprepared. He said that he had looked at getting some amnesia roses in the other day for my mock up but they were too expensive so he didn't bother. Instead he had a few that had been sat in the shop for 3 weeks! He had no bouvardia and no thistles either... Why do florists say they're gonna do all this stuff if it's half hearted? Would rather have not bothered tbh! But then I had my hair trial and that was gorgeous so feeling a little better now!! x

Unfortunately I can't go elsewhere - the flowers are all paid for and it's only 5 weeks to the wedding. He has assured me they will be ok on the day, so all I can do is keep my fingers crossed. x

I know its difficult but did you tell him how disapointed you were, it would be a terrible shame if you get rubbish flowers out of politeness and the point of a mock up is to see if they are thinking what you are and give you a chance to comment?

When I got married first time around I didnt have any idea what my flowers were going to be like till they arrived in the morning, all I knew was the type of flowers and the colour, they were fine. Im sure if you have seen other samples of his work and looked at pictures etc then it will be fine on the day x
