How come it will be a 20mile trip to get his hair done?
And I would say get it done the day before, he will have enough on his plate to deal with on his wedding day, better not to add that extra task onto it.

That's to far to travel the day of. Can he get it the day before or have them travel to him?

Mine had his done the day before. He finished work early on the Friday and popped down to get it chopped. That's with the barbers being 2 mins down the road as well. Defo worth him getting it done the day before.

I don't think he should leave it to the last minute, but I suppose it is up to him what he chooses to do

Most brides get there's done on the morning, with the BM's, MOH and everyone else, so why should the Groom be different?

If the Bride and BM's can get up early to have it all done, why can't the Groom get up early and have his done?

Can understand you have a panic due to distance, but i think it's an unnecessary worry. Groom's don't have half as much to do as the Bride on the morning, and it could be his way of relaxing on both your big day, adding a bit of normality so to speak.

I personally think saying no is harsh. He could say the same to you. Don't want you to have your hair done by a stylist in case it makes you late for the ceremony. How would you feel then?

I agree with laurenc he'll probably take the same time as the bridesmaids and bride! If his car breaks down, he can call out for breakdown cover or get a taxi!

I agree with Lauren too! If a bride can have hers done why can't the groom?

I understand why you are worrying, especially as its not long to go, but as long as he books an appointment nice and early (or if he cant make appointments just get there for when it opens) I dont think its a problem :) How often do cars break down these days? And sure an usher or someone could pick him up if the worst WAS to happen xx

well he has come round to my way of thinking after being stuck coming back from the town he would of had to go to for over 2 hours the day before yesterday due to an accident further up the road. I would not have thought of getting my hair done by a hairdresses if I had to travel to town as I know how bad it can be especially at this time of year our roads are tiny and quite often unpassable so not worth the risk. my stylist livesin the village and will be at the hotel with me :) h2b is now going the day before as I pointed out he would look good on his evening out with the boys the night before and he knew I was worried about it :) he is happy about the decision as he said he can go for a swim at the hotel and unwind in the morning instead . its amazing how stressed you get over the small things when its so close :)

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

Glad you were able to sort it out; I probably would have asked him to get it cut the night before as well :)
