    Hey ladies,

Myself and h2b have decided that we deffo want a joint stag & hen party and also picked a dress up theme :D

My query is...who pays for it i.e if you wa going to a satg/hen party would you be expecting to contribute to the evening?

For example ive found a venue that looks ideal but it voted £100 to hire for the evening say say I added on £200 to supply a buffet(possibly) It would work out around £5 a head for everyone... but is it cheeky to ask for this? or should we just find it in out budget to pay for it ourselves?

(dont get me wrong i dont mind him having one i just couldnt see it! i get uncomfortable with it to be honest) x

i dont see why people wouldnt pay! xx

Ah I think anyone would pay a fiver, when you consider how many people expect their friends to pay hundreds for long weekends or a week away its nothing. I've never heard of a joint do before - is it quite common? x

People usually pay to go on a hen night. We are also having a Sten night and are having it in a club that has a motown night we get a 4 course carvery meal and disco and motown act for £14.99 per head. I have told everyone about it and they need to pay £5.00 to book it then the balance 2 weeks before and loads of people have said they will come.

    xxx

This idea would work out a lot cheaper for alot of people, so paying £5 each is fab i think!!!!

    Thanks :)

h2b has a lot of female friends so its working out better just to have one big night!! the venue drink prices are also very reasonable so think will be a good night!!

thinking of having a cartoon/tv character fancy dress theme... so it will be a good laugh i hope xx

You could also ask for the guests to bring a bottle too which would save on the cost of buying drink or having a bar hired in.
