Ok, on the 11th I ordered my dress and was told it would be shipped by 29th. Just had an email to say it's been shipped. And it's only the 27th. It should be here by end of next week at the latest so that's less than 1 month. I'll keep you posted.
Apparently it's now at Stansted!!! I'm really excited. I really ,really hope it doesn't look like it's been made by a two year old ;0)

After arriving at stansted my dress decided to go on a detour and went to Warsaw Poland and Germany before returning to stansted and on to newhaven where it has been put on a van to my house. It will be here today, about a week earlier than expected. So far I cannot fault the service.

It has arrived. Worryingly it turned up in a small box, it has been vacuum packed. Washed my hands and instructed the boy to find the scissors. Got it out of the bag in the box and it's inside out but there is a LOT of dress. Turned it the right way round and... It is exactly the same as the picture. The quality is as good as any dress that I've tried on. The stitching all looks good and the lace and beading is lovely. The only bad thing is that import costs were 80 quid on top of what I'd already paid. Saying that you'd be hard pressed to find a dress as nice as that elsewhere for less than £300.

I have flu and am coughing and sneezing over everything so I don't want to get too close to this dress. I have my son holding it up but I haven't tried it on yet. It looks good to me. It does need to be pressed though as its just spent 3 days in a small box.

Girlies, Hails has made a fansatic find on the book of face. This lady is based in england, and puts photos of the dresses she makes up on facebook, not sure if she has a site, but I'm sure she does. Her dresses are absolutely gorgeous too. Nothing to fault with them and she has brilliant reviews. Slightly more expensiv than Voldermort, but probably less of a gamble xx

My dress is from China, ordered a few months back and there's photos of it in my albums (and a thread somewhere too)!
I can't remember how much it cost... think it was just over £50? I ordered it, arrived within a couple of weeks. The dress fit perfectly when it arrived, just needs shortening slightly. The corseting is strong, and the lacing too - in the photos I was done up by my housemate so I could get an idea of the fit etc... it looks even better when the lacing is done correctly!
I love my dress! I look at it all the time, and can't wait to wear it!

Thanks Annette! I got my dress from Bay of E -the link is on Annette's wall and the picture on my wall. I love my dress all it needs is shortening. I will try and give an honest review of my dress. The dress arrived within a month in a very small bag, so it was creased but after hanging it for a day most of the creases have fallen out. The fabric is good quality and my dress has weight to it just like a wedding dress should. There are a few loose theads at the bottom but as I am having the dress shortened this is not a problem but if I was leaving it I think a few seconds with a needle would have solved the problem. The colour - ivory - was just as I expected but the emellishment under the bust is lovelier than the picture showed. I am really pleased with it. What I would recommend is you need to measure and re-measure yourself if you are buying a china dress especially if it is a fitted dress and buy your size as according to their measurements so as not to be disappointed. Hope this helps, I found this an ideal way to buy my dress as I hate trying things on in shops and as I knew I had found THE dress once I had seen the picture getting it for such a great price was just the icing on the cake.
