That's awesome then as my idea of high is thousands!! Lol. I've asked her for a price with that bodice & that tulle skirt & a price for that bodice with just the normal glitter skirt, without the extras, either way, I WANT THAT BODICE! Haha xx

I may be an overanxious bride but I thought i'd check in on this thread to see if anyone else has been in my shoes re YBW/She Who ust Not Be Named. I could really do with some reassurance that im not about to become the first complaint they have.

First of all, she asked me to pay via Google so all my Paypal protection is gone. She is slow to respond to emails and i've yet to see anything.

I was told my dress would be with me in 7 weeks. Note - "with me".

We are now into week 5 and after waiting a week for a reply, ive been told my dress will be ready in 2 weeks.

WHAT?! I havent approved the fabrics yet!! I have no idea what colour they have chosen, ive not seen any lace samples as was promised and they havent asked me any questions. I would have thought they'd want to check a few things as my gown is 2 meshed together.

I am now really worried. Im hoping that the team in China can actually whip a gown up in 2 weeks and the reason i've heard nothing is because they havent started yet and didnt want to panic me... :-/

Purpe Rose - I haven't had any problems with she who must not be named, she's always responded to my emails within a day or so & I asked her for a sample a few days ago & she wrote to me yesterday saying the sample had come in & could I send her my address.

If you are really worried, I would just keep pestering her until you get a satisfactory answer, which I hope you get soon!

Purple rose: As LauraJo said it is Chinese New Year at the moment so most Chinese people have stopped working for the week, which may be why you are having a few problems? Did you ask he for some samples? Or were you just expecting them to be sent?

Siany: Yes it really is that chaotic! And no there wont be any spitting as we are getting married in a CofE church, not a Greek Orthodox one, but they do that at funerals and christenings too, it is supposed to ward off evil spirits! xxx

I ordered my dress from china. It arrived in a week and is lovely. I was a bit worried about the quality cause of the price I paid but I can safely say I am anything but disappointed. The sizing is spot on too. I think it is stunning & I am a very happy girl :)

It is a big risk buying from China but it is one I am so glad I took. x

Go with whatever you feel most comfortable with Roxanne. She who can't be named does have good feedback, but would you feel more comfortable going and actually trying the dress as is it is being made? xxx

purple rose have you emailed her gmail account hun as I have 2 emails for her but on her email she always replied within 24hrs and as one of the ladies stated it is also chinese new year so may be why you havnt had a reply soo far hun i got my dress 4 weeks from the date I ordered but mine was a simple plain dress with sash its in my albums if you would like a look, I wasnt asked what colour I wanted but did state in the measurement email I wanted ivory and the quality of the material on mine is excellent I honestly cant fault it you would think I picked it up off a shop rail x

well, just ordered a dress i love off bay of E, (pics in album) ... thats what i ordered, lets see what turns up.it was only £45 so im not expecting much to be honest, but my mum says if its a disaster she can make my smallest bm dress and my veil out of it, so be no money lost. Really hoping its going to be like the picture tho cos i love it. Its given me a delivery time of before 9th April, seller has 100% feedback, ill upload pics no matter what the outcome! Fingers Crossed x Oh, duty tax worked out at £9 online too.
