Ok, my dress FINALLY arrived...I was in the middle of sending h2b a text saying how useless royal mail where when the van pulled up!
I think our postman now thinks I'm a butter as a yoinked it out of his hand.....
AND IT'S AMAZING!!!!
I really can't fault it - the beading is great, I've had a seamstress look over it and she says it as good quality as any dress she's seen from a store, the embroidery on the bodice and taffeta is perfect and it's really heavy. I nearly cried when I opened it, I never thought I would be so excited about the dress...
It is now safely stashed at my mums as I wouldn't be able to resist getting in and out of it all the time....I promise I will take pixies next time I'm up!
The whole process was really easy and my dress only took about four weeks to arrive - really chuffed, she who must not be named certainly has another fan!

I would have expected her to quote between £80 - £100 for an adult version of that! She doesn't charge much more for a full wedding dress than what you have been quoted above. Are you sure it was her you spoke to as I know that another company is trading under the same name at the moment too. If it is definitely her, I think you could probably find a local dress maker who would make them for less than that hun xx

I ordered mine from light in the box and im gutted with it. The finish is poor, it was delivered in a tiny bag and the bodice is all folded out of shape. Ive now got 30 days to find a dress. Im such an idiot :(

No, I'm gagging to but I cant go trying on wedding dresses till end of May as my mum is coming over from Spain. And two of my 3 bridesmaids are 14 and 12 and I'm not sure I should get them just yet? Even though she who has no name said she can make them with room to grow? What do you think? I can get the older one hers but I wasnt sure if it would be exactly the same, being made half a year earlier? xx

Hi All Just wanted to update you on my China dress from light in the box. I sent them a long list of all of my issues along with pictures and they have agreed to give me a full refund. I think I will lose out on the customs/tax I paid but at least Im getting my money back.

i asked she who cannot be named for a sample of fabric and she took my address. i had been waiting for ages, so i sent her a message asking about it. and she said she didnt know i had asked for a sample?!! wtf?
everyone says loads of great things about her, but if she cant get a fabric sample right, i dont think i trust her with me dress!

I got some samples from her and mine were alright but it was only plain taffeta and satin. I think you guys should try Your Moments Bridal that's who I am going with, they are also on Ebay with 100% positive feedback and a bride on here (aurora) used them and just recently sent me photos of her dress and it is gorgeous.
When we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours
we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying

Sorry, not been on here for ages! I asked for a sample of glitter tulle & it was just normal tulle with a few cheap sequins attached randomly, not even in a pattern of any kind! I would upload a pic but I chucked it in a strop lol xx
