Just been looking at the website of she who can not be named...the dresses are stunning at amazing prices...so many great reviews on here too...did you guys all go to shops first and try dresses on to find the style you wanted etc and then go to her website and order the same type?

JR there is a link for her on my wall. I went to the shop choose the dress and then ordered. When the dress had arrived i went back in to the shop before I saw my dress, reminded myself what it looked like and then opened mine. There only differences where details that no one else will notice. X

I got my dress from a company in London but I'm pretty sure he just got it from China.. it's perfect apart from a few beads missing but contacted him n I'm getting £20 refund and q bag of beads sent to me.. only paid £89 originally. It's the Alfred Angelo 1136 dress. Going to add our own details as mum is a dress maker.

I got mine from China and its gorgeous! Exactly like the picture, great quality only thing that needa altered is the bust and thats cos I measured wrong. Cost me £196 absolute bargain for the quality of dress I got. The lace is perfect and colour was spot on. Was really worried before it arrived but now definitely getting my bridesmaids dresses through the same site :)

i ordered my hen do dress from the bay and it came from china. came today and im honestly over the moon! the seller was lovely and the dress is beautiful. its covered in lace and is so well made. only cost me £43 or something like that and if it were in a shop it wud have been alot more. if u want the details as they do do wedding dresses, but not alot, message me. well worth a little bit of worrying about lolx

Well I found my dream dress but at almost £1000 it was 3 times my budget. I have since seen an ex display/shop one for half that price but I'm worried as its not my size (too big) so would need altering and I can't see the condition before purchasing it.
So yesterday I contacted she who can't be named to see if she could make it, i sent her the photos and name etc. she has contacted me today and said she can make it for £189! Only thing I'm worried about us that it will arrive and feel thin etc as if felt thick(if this Makes sense) in the shop. Do you think I should risk getting her to make it. Baring in mind that I have ages till my wedding so I have time to look for a second dress if its not right.
Has anyone had her make a design her site don't advertise, what did it turn out like????

I have posted the photos I sent her and photos of the actual dress she made in my albums.
I am more than happy with the weight and feel of the material used. I personally couldnt tell the difference between the materials she uses compared to what you would try on in an actual bridal shop.
It really boils down to how much you are prepared to spend on your dress, personally I think its well worth a go.
Worse case scenario if it didnt turn out the way you hoped you could also resell and look elsewhere, however I have not heard a single bride to be say they are not happy with the dresses she has sent out.

Hi, I am looking at the website of "she who cannot be named" and I see she does Ho-use of Moos-hki designs. (hope thats cryptic enough!)
Has anyone bought these retro style dresses from her before and can comment about them? I love love love ALL of the designs but I cannot afford £1500+ for a dress.

Ahhhhhhhhh so freckling annoyed with myself just checked the status of my wedding dress as it was due this week only to find that the place has shut down so fuming Idefo won't be ordering from China again.
Better start looking for bridal shops near me and work out a budget when I get home after work with h2b

My china dress arrived today from L!ght in Th3 B0x and it's perfect!! The quality is amazing, it looks like a dress from a bridal shop. I have heard all the horror stories about ordering a china dress and was worried about receiving a bad quality knock off, but it's the complete opposite. I'm so happy I did! If you're thinking about it, do it!

I bought mine on amazon from London but I'm 100% sure the guy just got it from china. It was the exact dress I wanted and the quality of the fabric is amazing for the price of £89. There was a thread come loose and some beads missing so we contacted the seller and he sent out a big bag of beads and refunded £20!! My mother is a dressmaker so she can do all the alterations... Bargain if you ask me! Also got the bridesmaids dresses straight from china and they are amazing not a single fault to say about them. All in for my dress, 2. Bridesmaid dresses and a flower girl dress (Wigan market for £20 it cost me £159!!
