I went too, ABSOLUTE DIVE don't go!!!!!

The tour operators first words to us were "You are in a third world country now so don't go expecting luxuries!!!"

The grissle in the meat wasn't too bad though!!! lol

    Agghhhhhhhh!!!!

Heya, I went about 8 years ago with my family and personally i loved it! Just nice to do something a bit different. You do have to be bit careful with the food out there like any of those countrys so if you do go would recommend staying in a 4 or 5 star hotel. I guess it depends which part you go to though. It was a place near hammamet I think we stayed in.x x

Me and Steve went 2 years ago.
The Weather was Gorgeous, the Hotel was nice, cheap, clean and they were very friendly.
as soon as we left the hotel or our feet touched the beach we'd have soo many people come up to us trying to sell us stuff, waaay too much hassle when you just want to relax. At one point one gut tried to buy me by selling camels to steve and a ferrari,we couldnt work out whether he meant the car or one of his camels called farrari lol.

We went about 2 years ago, after lotsof bad reports I was reading a bit, however we bit the bullet and booked in at Hamamat Yasmine, this resort is purpose built and another world from the likes of Hammamet, which is a bit more cultural. Yasmine had lots of 4* and 5* hotels. We went b&B can't rememeber the hotel name-sorry, but the hotel was lovely and clean and excelleant facilities. The town itself was nothing much to do but there were a street of restaureants, which were all fab, heaps of fresh fish and fresh olives-yummy.
Personally it's what you want from a holiday, it's cheap there and relaxing and if thats what you want I would defreccomend it

I went a few years ago and I hate to say it but it was the WORST holiday of my life and would definitely not go back there. Was advised by tour operator to wear a wedding ring to deter unwanted attention but did not make a blind bit of difference men over there was constantly trying to grope me and a couple even tried to put their hands up my shorts, was horrendous!!
Sorry to put a dampener on things xx

I went there a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Just be wary when going out of the complex, always try and have some one with you like a tour guide. Most hotel arrange trips where you are 'superivsed', its just the locals can get a little pushy. I think if you go somewhere all inclusive, you dont particalurly need to leave the hotel.

I'd certainly go back again, made some great friends, whillst being out there. xx

my god, thats terrible mrslewis. i went when i was young with my family and the men are awful, the place is a shi t hole and we almost got robbed by some bloke with a horse and carriage who (to cut a long story short) ''just happened'' to take us to his house which was miles away from where he was supposed to take us. id never ever go back there all they seem to want to do is rob you blind and terrify you. the hotel cost a fortune but was stil shocking with watered down drinks, crap entertainment and food that i wouldnt even give to my dog! x

they will follow you round too and be like come to my shop come to my brothers shop lol and they will try to rob you blind, they wanted £300 in GBP for a pair of gold plated earrings, haggled til we got them for £10 lol!!!! they are shits over there, and thanks xxsophiexx im over it now like but i know that you show them any interest and they will do whatever they can to you, i thought it would be an innocent romance, i always was too trusting! they get very offended too, i asked one if he was gay cos he was kissin men on the lips (funnily enough it was the one who raped me) and he pushed me against the wall of the medina market spitting in my face and tryin to force himself on me, so you have to be careful what you say aswell! just please dont go, its not a nice place at all over there, i went to hammamet the first time then yamine hammamet. i hated it! the pool in the hotel had so much chlorine in it that it burnt going in the pool.
