..Cos Ive just been accepted into Kings College Uni to study nursing! The final first year placement apparently clashes with my wedding date so I've got a bit of a wait to find out when I can move it to! Will probably be next August now I guess. Sorry lol I know its not really wedding-related but just felt like shouting it from the rooftops, I didnt think I stood a chance!

don't change the date before speaking to uni you might be able to negoiate starting your placement early or having a week off and making the time up later. i started my course knowing i would struggle to do a work placement all way though the summer school holidays but i started anyway and for my first two years i started my placemnet 3 weeks early and had 3 weeks off mid placement. i can not do it for my final year as it is my management placement but hey ho 2 out of three aint bad eh?

MrsMelodyWalker yeah lol when I went to the interview they told me there were 1400 applicants for 80 places (40 degree and 40 diploma), so I wasnt holding my breath. Mustve done something right! x
