That alot of you (inc ME) have silver shoes to get married in...
My mum has claimed that i should be wearing the same colour shoes as my dress which is Ivory.... she says its tradition... i have never heard of that one...
Have you and if so what do you think of that tradition?

traditionally, I suppose, the shoes should be the same colour as your dress but i went with white with silver pattern coz they were stunning and I will feel good in them. As long as we feel good that is all that matters. Nobody is going to see them much anyway hehe xx

I cant find any I like!! but mine will most likely be either Black/red or silver hehe Silver goes nice with everything!
great minds think a like, lol well i had to make mine like that as found some that i loved but tehy were £1,500 which i refused to pay for a pair of shoes, so i made mine for a fraction of the cost lol xx

I didn't know it was a tradition, but just because something is traditional doesn't mean you have to have it.
I'm having scarlet and garnet shoes (covered in siam and garnet Swarovski crystals) and my bridesmaids will match my shoes (not vice versa).

Never heard of that, hmmmmm. Have been debating about going for a colour, or silver which is the colour the bms are having, or the ones on my profile (the louboutins).
Have bought a pair of white new rock boots I found on ebay, for the evening portion so I can party in comfort though lol.

You can have any colour you want. There is a big trend now for wearing bright blue or hot pink shoes with your dress so silver is fine.

I can't say I've ever heard that tradition... my shoes are electric blue and so far they are the thing I'm looking forward to wearing the most! Although that might change when I get my dress... then again a dress is a dress... shoes are little messages from heaven to feet on how to look awesome! And I can wear them again... :P
