We are looking to get married in the deer park golf and country club in livingston edinburgh. Has anyone got married there or been for another event?
Also is there somewhere else in edinburgh that people could recomend??

Hi Lindsay one of my friends got married in deer park, i couldnt make her wedding but she said it was lovely, the food was ok nothing amazing, she said it was lovely for pictures but not sure if it was a rainy day where you would get any pictures taken! If your looking for a small wedding there is the ramada jarvis hotel in livingston thats nice, also houston house hotel is nice but expensive! there's the vu, i wouldnt recommend it very expensive, food is awful, nice surroundings, bad weddings! going into edinburgh you have orocco pier in south queensferry, thats really nice but also expensive! theres bankton house hotel thats nice, linlithgow palace, the witchery, the caves, glasshouse hotel, royal botanical gardens. Hope some of those ideas help you out if you dont choose deer park Nicola x

I got bowling here all the time. As for events, I have only ever been here for a funeral. I'm sure thy'd do a gr8 job thou n food wud b good xx

no problem, hope you like it when you have a look, we go bowling aswell but iv never seen the suite that they hold the weddings its just really the bowling part we go to & the food in there is good, i dont think iv ever had anything that they have on the wedding menus but i would say to give the food a try when your in viewing it have a lunch that way you can try the food first hand xx
