Made their own invites, order of service, menus etc?
I am not the most creative person on the planet but I really really want to make my own for the wedding. I just think it would be a lovely personal touch.
Does anyone know of any websites etc that offer hints or tips, or step by step guides? Or where did you find ideas etc.

i was in Millers today and they have an amazing pack of 50 plain invites and envolopes for £5.00 im making my own thinking of gettin them and using stamps on them you can buy stamps for card making in lots of places i got the alphabet for 1.99 from hobbycraft all you have to do is put them onto blocks and print :) need any other ideas give me a shout im an art student so if you already have an idea i could help u find a way of doing it ^.^ xx

Oh thanks that'd be great! I'm completely useless! I bought a card making starter kit off ebay and ended up chucking the glitter all over the floor, i glued the card shut, and stuck stickers on upside down!!!! lol God knows how i'm going to make all the invites etc without a major disaster!!! lol xx

we are making our own orders of service, its going to be plain, with a simple butterfly stamp on the front & tied together with ribbon xxx

Im going to be doing the same, but as yet havnt sat down to begin being creative! I did however get loads of stationary stuff from 'Works'. You can get packs for a pound, of charms, ribbons, crystals etc and i got a variety of card in shades of purple and lilac (my wedding colours) as well as white and off white. Im constantly scanning 'google images' for inviation inspiration! And have kind of found what style i like. Get a few girl friends over and just start designing, the more people there the more ideas to share

u can do courses in these things or there is instructions on the internet ive found a pack of Anita's (which is the ones i saw in millers) pack of 90 plain white envolopes and invites for 9.99 which is awesome!! google anita's they do plain or pearlecent or coloured ones its the cheapest ive seen invites usually its packs of 20 for £5.00

i was proper shocked how cheap they were!! was so tempted to buy them the now but i dont know the way i want them yet and dont want to leave them laying around to get bashed or anythin :P xx

dont worry too much about, we're making our own (well i am lol) but im not good at making my creative ideas a reality lol. the way i see it is if it is a bit ,to just keep it plain and simple. plain cards with one or two simple decorations on front. the script on the inside can be printed from a computer using a template adding details to each one in hand writting and sticking to the card. hope this helps =)
