Hello all Just looking for some honest reviews really. my OH and I are going to look at Coombe Abbey for civil ceremony and evening reception on Saturday, and having a bit of a google, have found some mixed reviews! The grounds look beautiful, but the interior is a bit too old fashioned for my liking (they often have medieval themes!), so i'm not 100%, but the OH seems to like it. The room that the civil ceremony is held in for my numbers (30 day 60 night) is the 'walnut room' which is panelled wall to wall in walnut. I don't like the carpet in the room (i sound so picky!!) and dont' think the colours of the venue will go with my colour scheme (black white and purple) Would be grateful for anyones honest opinions :)

yes i have ....... it was wonderful nothing was to much trouble for the staff
as for the carpet once your have chairs tables and 60 feet on it you wont see much and if anyone is looking at the carpet instead of you then they ought to be kicked out
