I've booked a wedding car for me and my mum to get to the church then for me and h2b to get to the venue. But I need a car to take the bridesmaids to the church and I've heard that taxi places have fancy cars that they hire out for occasions like weddings. Has anybody done this or know anybody who has? Does anybody know how expensive they are? Thanks xx

You will have to have a look around at different taxi firms depending on what kind of cars they have. My mate who got married a couple of months did that, she got a Bentley but it does depend on the taxi firm you are using.

I think it depends on the firm & the cars they have in their fleet. Generally they are cheaper, but not always. I'd call a couple firms to see what their rates are like.

There's a few taxi places nearby so I'll have a ring round. I'm not too bothered about the car, as long as it looks nice. I was really hoping it'd be really cheap though :( I can't afford to hire another car x

I am going to do that for my BMs just phone up a few firms and ask about a nice car to take them. Alternatively have you tried funeral homes a lot are willing to hire out the cars for weddings x
My ex boss used to get a limo from our taxi place all the time for free lol But I know if it was us NORMAL ;-) people hiring it it would be something like 120 quid/

Im having a taxi for my bridesmaids. Ive seen a company that has cars without the taxi sign and numbers down the side so im going to see how much they charge put a few bows on the car.

Ooh I feel really tight now - I'm just getting them their in a bog standard taxi! They'll be arriving before the guests anyway (I'm staying at venue) so no one will see! Xx

We had a white stretch limo for my mum and BMs, but only because we got a package deal from the car hire place!!

Well my mum's now found a pink limo that she wants for the bridesmaids haha. It's a really good price but they won't take bookings until the new year. I'll keep it in mind and i'll probably still ring the taxi places anyway in case they can offer a better price. Thanks for all your help everyone :)
