Hey :) I have an appointment for the Ramada Hotel in Belfast in a couple of weeks, just wanted to know if anyone had been to a wedding there? What was the food/service like? and what was the room decor like?
Thanks :D

Hmmmm Do I get lynched for saying this? I used to be a naughty girl. I worked all over the Uk and stayed in many a Ramada. We used to take advantage of the big weddings and sneak in and eat their food. Naughty I know but they never knew that we were not the guests and working away from home makes you do these things. No one ever said anything. Its not the hotels fault as they can't tell who is on the guest list or not and they usually have the bride and grooms name at the door so the guests go to the right room etc so its easy to blag your way in. I can't remember every going to the one in Belfast although I have stayed over there before but I know the ones we have been to were very good. The Ramada's vary from hotel to hotel. Some are amazing and out of this world but they do have one or two that are a little more run down. Stoke being the prime example of this. Most are really nice though.
Just goes to show though how may brides and grooms invite that many people they don't know half of their guests and if there is a stranger gate crashing.

Just if you book make then double and triple check your date as we are having ours at the Ramada in Bingley and they double booked the date twice because of a computer error and they use the same compuer system throughout.
If they looked at the date on 1 view (ie 7 day view all saturdays) our wedding was there but if you looked at like a normal calender our wasnt and someone elses was.
They have sorted it now but we had to move our date twice so just make them double check. My advice would be the same for anyone wherever they are booking.

It was but we love the venue and the girl who was handling our wedding has left now and the guy who is doing it now, and the general can't do enough to help. They are redeeming themselves for me. But we picked it because we love it. But my advice would still be the same for any event with any venue, to make them check and double check as a lot of hotels use the same system!
Best of luck and let us know what you decide xx
