My mum's a hairdresser and she's seen some shocking sights from hair extensions. A lot of them entail melting glue into your hair which is never a good thing to do.
If it's volume you're after then you can get all sorts of fandangled hair clips that push your hair out, non intrusive and if it doesn't look like you'd hoped then you simply slide it out with zero damage to your hair. Have a look in Boots on the JML stand

    It's right what they say

But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

all extensions damage your hair... i had them for years and wrecked my hair... bonded ones damaged your hair the most as they are applied with hot glue and need to be taken out by a hairdresser, mirco loop ones are just as bad and the platted in ones if your hair is weak will snap your hair eventually, my hair is very thin and for my weddsing i am having a 3/4 wieve which is a 3/4 wig put underneath and totally unnoticable and look dead natural.... just becareful and go and have a consultation with a very experiance hair extention hair dresser xx

i was thinking about having extensions for my wedding i have clip in ones but they tend to slip as my hair is very fine plus i want more volume but my hair dresser said i would be better with the clip ins anyways would it be worth me getting some and what are the raccoon ones i see advertised? I would like them so i dont have to worry bout taking them out at airport aqs would look a bit stupid!!
