after having a little wobble last week with the venue change and things, i am having such an exciting productive week. firstly on monday my wedding shoes arrived and fit perfectly (it normally take 4 hours and dozens of shoe shops to find a pair that fits right). my flowergirls dress arrived too and is absolutely stunning and it was in the sale too so for £21 i got the dress which is ivory duchess satin (photo in my album), bolero jacket and matching bag!!!! Monday afternoon as i have said in a previous post we bought our wedding rings and got an absolute bargain.
on tuesday we were granted permission to take our 2 children out of school for our honeymoon which has made things a whole lot easier.
We then went to see the landlord of the pub where we are now having the reception and after worrying for days it all went extremely well. i can decorate things how i want, as he knows my filtb really well he's doing the buffet at cost price, and because its a bank holiday and we dont have the pub to ourselves the landlord has offered to pay for the dj too!!!!! i now have a bit more work on my hands with the invites as i need to look into adding directions and bus timetables etc but i'm sure i'll get things done soon.
then today my moh dress arrived (photo in my album) which is stunning i just hope it fits ok. so overall we nearly have everything done, thankfully. Htb has seen his and the best mans suits and i know what flowers and decorations i'd like then its just all the little bits like jewellery and hairstyles etc. hope everyone else is getting on well with their plans :) xxx
