    Hi. like most things in my home we like putting our own little touches on things so why not do that at our wedding but with some many things to do, has anyone got any tips or ideas??????? our theme is red and ivory ....

    What style are you going for as well as having your colours? Modern, vintage? Simplicity?
    I could suggest what were doing, glass bottle with a single flower in it. In your case red glass bottle, with single ivory rose.
    its simple but very effective.

    i was going to do that to as our colours are red and white. But now im going with cupcakes. The stand will be red and the cupcakes will have white icing. Wanted something that people could interact with, as we will have a few children there, so its just something they can nibble on if they didnt like the food :)

    Sounds good. Also another idea would be a kind of wish tree. An ivory tree in the middle looking nice with a ceramic pot, with glass pebbles, using red labels, guests can write you a wish. and stick it on the tree. That way it doubles up as a guest book/centrepiece.
    OR...
    Do the whole tree thing but instead of using labels use red sweets. That way like Anneka said, you can interact with it and it'll keep the kids happy :)
