my son had hand foot and mouth disease last year, he picked it up from nursery. he had a temperature, a really bad rash on his hands, round and in his mouth and on the soles of his feet, hence the name. it is more common in children as most adults have become immune. no one else in the family had it when my little boy got it so chances are you'll be fine hun. when i mentioned it to other mums at the nursery they got it mixed up with the foot and mouth disease what animals get lol. it is highly contageous though hun, but like ive said most people have already had it or are immune by the time they reach adulthood. x

sorry ;) im sure you will be fine at least it is not the week before your wedding so if you do get it you will have time to recover
