    Hi everyone :)
I recently got engaged and I am hoping to get married in August or September next year. I want a church wedding so I have been searching for a venue for the reception but a lot of hotels and country houses etc are firstly rather expensive and secondly all the packages are so generic and there is nothing individual or unique about them. Because of this I am wanting to hire some a venue where I can decorate it myself, organise my own caters, provide the alcohol etc but haven't really found much, so I was wondering if anybody on here has any ideas or any venues they know of that fits the bill? I am looking at places in Merseyside and Cheshire but would be happy to get married in Yorkshire too as that is where my other half is from. All the venues that I have looked at so far are just church halls that look rather dated and are in the middle of a car park! Thanks in advance for your help.
    Alison :) x
